Isabella Florendo is a student at Cornell University College of Arts & Sciences majoring in Statistical Science. She is a pianist, violinist, and organist. She currently studies piano with Dr. Xak Bjerken.
Isabella has performed at notable venues including Carnegie Hall, the Kimmel Center, the Wannamaker Organ in Philadelphia, and the White House. She has won numerous national and international piano competitions since she was 8 years old. In 2024, she was invited to participate in an intensive summer program at the Curtis Institute of Music where she took keyboard, conducting, and composition lessons. She served as the concertmaster of the PMEA District 12 Orchestra and Principal Second Violin of the PMEA All-State Orchestra and was a member of the Cornell Symphony Orchestra. 
Aside from music, Isabella is part of the Cornell Tradition Fellowship, a program combining leadership and community service. She also holds a brown belt in judo.
